Young woman goes out of her comfort zone to send powerful message

After getting engaged in February, Stephanie and Arryn from Texas decided to take part in a couples photo shoot organized by their friend Bria Terry. The pictures from the shoot that they posted on Facebook soon went viral.

Whether they're cuddling up together in the water or sharing an affectionate kiss on the shore, it's easy to see why so many people have been moved by these heartwarming images — it really is true love. But that's not the only thing these photos reveal.

Stephanie used the intimate shoot to show that she's not ashamed of her curvaceous figure, even though that hasn't always been the case. "I remember being in junior high and looking at myself in the mirror, wondering why my stomach wasn't the way it was 'supposed' to be," the Texan said.

"Over the years, I've come to accept that I am always going to be considered plus-size. I push myself out of my comfort zone by wearing clothes that I love but aren't in society’s mold of what is acceptable for bigger women, like crop tops, tight shirts, shorter dresses and shorts. I walk around with my head high, smiling, and show no shame in myself," Stephanie added.

Even so, Stephanie was surprised by the final result of the photo shoot. "I honestly have never felt more attractive. I look so in love and confident. Neither of us could stop smiling during and after our session. We both were surprised by how close it made us feel," the young woman said.

The photos have also been positively received on Facebook. "This is so perfect. Their love for one another shines so bright that nothing else in the world matters, especially not the opinions of those who would try to bring them down. You did a wonderful job of capturing that connection," one of many commenters wrote.

While Stephanie and Arryn are planning to get married next February, their love for one another has already been demonstrated in these beautiful photos. We wish them many more happy years together!
